This maybe is a odd question but I’m sitting here doing some journaling for pages I’ve completed and I find that I journal in the first person and then at the end of the paragraph I’m journeling in the second person? Do you journal like your talking to strangers reading – or for instance if your doing your childs album do you journal like you are talking to them. I’m working on our family album so some are family pictures, some are just of my daughter. Or does it even matter at all??

Personally I don’t think it matters. Perhaps on one layout (page) you should try to be consistant, but over a whole album – I don’t worry.

My journalling varies between talking about ‘we did this…we did that ….’ to ‘You are a beautiful …..’ to addressing the reader. I think I just go with what ever feels right for that particular layout(page).

Remember there are no ‘rules’ in scrapbooking!!

I am talented at creating digital scrapbooking pages. Friends and family have suggested that I should sell my work. I am fairly certain that there is a need out there for this sort of service because many people do not have the time/inclination to scrapbook but would like a finished photo album of their memories.

I was wondering how I should go about advertising my services beyond word of mouth. I was thinking about creating a webpage but I don’t know how to promote it. I was thinking about creating flyers in my neighbourhood. I am not sure what else I could do. Any suggestions?

Good questions, I have a scrapbook business and I am always trying new ways to advertise.

My first suggestion is networking word of mouth is the best advertisement because it is a testimonial of your great work and people are more receptive if they know someone that recommended you.

A website is the business card of the new Millennium and a great way to display your work, you can find some web page sites that have a easy to use templates to help you set your site up http://www.homestead.com . Another option is to start a blog which is free and a great way to share your work and promote yourself http://www.blogger.com .

Another good tool is the old classic business card and flyer’s. I carry them around and give them to anyone I meet Vista print offers free business cards and great templates http://www.vistaprint.com .

My latest advertisement idea is a monthly newsletter featuring new products, events, product specials, and other scrapbook information I believe is worth sharing.http://scrapbookmemorias.blogspot.com

I guess the best suggestions is keep trying new things scrapbooking is great hobby and is becoming very popular teaching others how to preserve precious memories is important and I congratulate you on your efforts. Good Luck and feel Free to check my website and contact me for more information. http://memorias.memory-works.com .

Pokhara is the start and end of the trekking paradies.
This view is the idyll you started. Go out towards the Phewa Lake, take a deep breath and listen to the silence.
No Birds, no wind, nothing.
[Only my music... ;) ]
As when the lights go out, a bike cycles along…

The Annapurna Massiv is nearly 40 km long as the pic-range shows, from the Dhaulagiri to Manaslu Massive… (both contains 8 km peaks) and the greatest visiable height difference of the world, more than 6 km from the rice fields to scraping the sky…
The landmark is the Machupuchare (6996 m), a Holy mountain, which is never climbed until now, even by Reinhold Messner. His form like a fishtail gives everything in Pokhara its name…
Take a sunset a boat trip on the Phewa Lake…
It is one of my magic moments as I described in my book…
All could be found as an enclosure to my book “Nepal – Tibet” (ISBN 978-3-38334-8772-9). This book is the first German mixture of an author, musician and fotograf, pictures and music are on an extra CD.

The sliding between this raw shots is perfect in my shows, projected on a 6 m screen…
Watch out your cinema… ;-)
